The Ardonagh Group announces acquisition of assets from Rural Insurance Group Limited

The Ardonagh Group (“the Group”) today announces the acquisition of trade and assets from Rural Insurance Group Limited (“Rural”).

Contracts have been exchanged and completed by Geo Underwriting Services Limited in relation to the purchase.

Rural is a leading specialist underwriter for rural and agricultural communities and joins the Group’s suite of MGA brands including Geo Underwriting, AIUA and BIBU.

Headquartered in North Yorkshire, Rural’s history spans over 20 years and today it distributes to a network of over 600 broker partners and protects the assets of over 17,000 customers across the UK.
