On 24 November 2017, The Ardonagh Group came together to celebrate the launch of the Group’s new registered charity, The Ardonagh Community Trust (ACT), with a nation-wide event known as Go Green Day.

The day saw 6000 employees across the Group’s 100 offices united in British Racing Green to show the true power of community spirit.

From animal selfies and green pies thrown at senior leaders to teams trying to break world records, Go Green Day saw offices across the UK of all sizes inject spirit and creativity into their fundraising activities.

Thanks to their amazing efforts, £61,000 was raised to kick start the Trust which will go towards amplifying the impact The Ardonagh Group has on causes and communities close to the hearts of employees this year and beyond.

There were lots of other facts and figures tallied from the day too:

Inspired by the resilience and diversity of our own community, ACT was established following The Ardonagh Group in July 2017 as a platform to galvanise and strengthen the Group’s collective impact on the communities where we live, work and serve.

In 2018, the Trust will appoint a national charity partner as well as supporting employees across the Group’s family of businesses with match funding and quarterly community grants.
